Not sure if its a feature of the Commonwealth but somehow after allowing an RM with Wolgast I wound up with them as my Royal Family but that's ok. However my issue is that I haven't had a RM with them in 40+ years and at least 3 Kings.

Are RMs supposed to last through multiple generations? Was I autoaccepting RMs because a member of their family was on my Throne? Or would this be considered a bug?

If you initiate the RM, the marriage will last until your monarch dies.

If the other kingdom initiated the RM, the marriage lasts until their monarch dies.

Poland under the elective monarchy has a tendency to get fairly old leaders/heirs. So it’s likely what you’re seeing isn’t a bug, it’s just the other side asked for a RM when their ruler was young, you said yes, and then you’ve had three old kings in a row.

Wolgast also borders poland so often improves relations and tries to get a king

Thank you, that makes sense.
