I have a suggestion;

It is really boring to search for a lord after you have completed a quest, it will be great if each lord has a estate manager, who will stay ALWAYS in his castle and will pay you for completed quests done on behalf of his master.

another small one, it would be great if "visit the guildmaster" is added to the town menu, ideally in marketplace. Currently, you have to go to the streets and search for him

best regards

The funny thing is that in the Native Expansion mod for M&B there were 'talk to the guildmaster' and 'talk to the village elder' options in menu for towns and villages respectively.

I was kind of surprised that it was not implemented by Warband's developers. It's really useful and saves you lots of running around :)

+1 It was one of the best features in that mod. I also miss having cattle follow your party, not run away from it.

Native Expansion wasn't the only mod with that option implemented. Also, it would have been nice to have a few more buildings in the towns, not just messenger and prison.

Wary about this kind of additions. Visibly,one key element in the game is the management of distance. Developpers are trying to get you strongly linked to your fief(s).

When you are given 40 days to complete a deliver the message to lord x, that is a strong indication that you should not be able to track down lords as easily as it is now. Next versions of the game are going to further this point as I suppose lords are not destined to know where every other lord is etc... keeping you in a fog as it suits a game on this time period.

You already have the feasts and the major military campaigns to join your quest givers.

A companion/seneschal finds who or who would void this feature.

As long as quests limits do not run over when performed, it is not a big deal to wait for a coincidental encouter to complete the quest.

Because once, I went over the quest time limit (after performing the task, only remain the report stuff) and it was considered failed.

So far, I take quests and complete the report of successes when given the opportunity (feasts, waste encounters, military campaigns)

Running around to find this or that lord is a mistake in playing the game imo.

I must admit I was disappointed to see a number of much needed interface improvement from mods like Native Expansion missing from Warband. I'm thinking simple things like the "loot all" option and a right-click buy and sell. As it is looting quickly becomes tedius.
