@OP - Judging by actual content: Common Sense (Releases next week) > Art of War >> Res Publica = Wealth of Nations > El Dorado >>> Conquest of Paradise >>> American Dream, imo. Stuff like unit sprites aren't necessary since they do not alter gameplay.
Yes. Art of War, Res Publica, and Wealth of Nations should all come ahead of El Dorado. But I think he said he was already planning to buy those.

I'd leave American Dream off the list, completely, tbh, unless you plan to play a lot of late game USA scenarios. If you're interested in the country-specific flavor packs, things like Purple Phoenix and Star & Crescent are more useful (if they're still available). Unit packs are something you buy on sale, if you have extra money, unless you're an immersion junkie.

Is that list of yours a bad joke?

American Dream is completely irrelevant and CoP is near completely obsolete since El Dorado. Art of War is easily the biggest and most important and you did not even mention it, while Common Sense will be even more of a must-buy than AoW.

You probably should read more carefully before calling anyone's posts "bad joke"

1st: OP Already said "So obviously I'll be getting the base game, in addition to the new Common Sense expansion, Art of War, and Wealth of Nations. I guess those three are the most important expansions."

He doesn't need us to mention Art of War or Common Sense, he already knows they are the most important.

2nd: If you read my 3rd post, #16 I had already clarified this.

That's what I get for staying all night up. *shrugs*

Well, I apologize for my previous post, I did sound rude, on top of being mistaken, after all. And no, I had not paid due attention to that detail in his post. :p
