Hello all , here is my problem .
Since a little times now ( 5-4 months ) when i start a new game on crusaders kings II on Iron man mod ( in facts i always play on iron man so i dont know if this problem happens also with manuel saves , never experienced ) , approximately 100 years after the beginning of my game , this message appears at my screens :
"Error writing save game
Failed to save game for unknow reason .
Are you using forbidden characters in the file name ?
Do you have enough free space ? "
I dont know why i have this problems , its actually ruin all my games , i never changes my files names , i have tonne of free space on my computer " and apart that my game globally work without problems .
Since the first apparition of the message during my game ( in my actual game for example , i started in 1066 , and the message appeared for the first time in 1159 , 5 jully 1159 ) , if i quit without saving , and launch again the game and load my save back , its work , the auto save work properly again because my game retake from the last auto safe since the auto safe crash date . That is what i do for save my game and its work generally two or three times , sometimes less , sometimes more . the proof , at the third time , in 5 jully 1262 , in my actual game , when i quit , and try to load back my save , this time the game saved the date of the crash ( 5 jully ) , and then if i try to continue my game , this message appear at all auto safe , and then i guess the game is definitely ruined ...
That is what happens actually to me at any of my games i start . In past i had already this problem, but its was occasionally , but now it's always . Now I'm sure if i start a new game , i will get again this problem , sooner or later , i know whatever i did during the game, at end everythings will be ruined by this . Its demoralizing .
I searched on internet for find solutions , but i find nothings which was able to help me , this problem happens also to others, but visibly this problem remain uncommon .
Im out of ideas , i dont know what to do , i love this game but i cant play it anymore normally ... thanks for reading , and thanks in advance if you have any eventual solutions for me and my problem , thanks .
Informations : I have XP ( Yes ) , 4 G of Ram , i play in game with very speed mod ( always , its more practice ) , i have some dlcs which are activated during game and i'm playing with last version .
