Error when trying to reinstall CK

I just got a new computer today, and promptly began installing my PI games. Now I've come to CK, but I think something is wrong with either the CD or something I can't make out.

This is what I get when starting the install and waiting for it to initialize:

An installation support file could not be installed.

Datafeil (sirkulerende overflødighetskontroll, CRC)

The last line would read "data error (circulating redundancy controll, CRC)" I think.

I fear the CD has got broken, but it hasn't been out of it's cover since last install a couple months ago, so I'm posting here in case I'm not completely screwed... :wacko:

Dirty or scratched, Try and clean it. If it's scratchy, try toothpaste

Dirty: no.
Scratched: Well, it has a couple minor ones, but I have CDs with much more scratches than this one that work like a charm.

But toothpaste?
