error when changing text.csv

i just reinstalled HoI to try out core, installed it, but when i change u01 in text.csv, i get an error message when i start the game. it goes like this:
--- ERROR in language file, token 'rhilfe aus Deutschland und (some more german) erfahren hatten'
---
Do you still want to continue?

and whatever option i choose, i cant get the game to start.
an,yone know what i should do?

It depends of the program you use to edit the file: In Excel, you must save using ( ; ) as the seperator not ( , ).

Or, more easy, just edit it with notepad or wordpad and save it normally. That´s what i do .

Hope this helps, i don´t know a word of german so i suppose that the message your getting is the same i got when i had this problem with .cvs files.

like Nachinus said, try NotePad instead of Excel
this is how the line should look before you modify it:

U01;User Defined;Paramétrable;Definito dall'utente;Def. por usuario;Benutzerdefiniert;;;;Benutzerdefiniert;;X

after:

U01;Italian Socialist Republic;Paramétrable;Definito dall'utente;Def. por usuario;Benutzerdefiniert;;;;Benutzerdefiniert;;X

this is ONLY if you have the PAN and Strategy First versions, for diferent version, like Friendware or Koch, the file looks diferent, but the process is equal.
