user already have a profile for battletech

I can click on 'confirm' but i can't leave that screen. Clicking 'save' produces that same error. Hitting enter after entering a callsign does the same. If i try to move elsewhere in menus i get

Please enter a Callsign

After alt+tab & restarting BT i got to the main menu though. And it seems i can start the campaign regardless of that error

While this is just a silly bug that needs to be squished somewhere in their account-connection code or wherever, I can't help feeling that it is bloody stupid design not to be able to exit out of the customization screen when something goes wrong.

Just about as stupid as forcing you directly into that customization screen when you choose to activate your Paradox account.

Agreed, I'd like to be able to use my extra content in offline mode if need be. Then again, it might only need the initial confirmation and always work after that.

Same here. First I received the ridiculous broken English error message, and now I can't log in at all.

Same issue. Force closed the game then restarted it to try again after making sure my paradox account was active and got into the main menu. Hoping that any progress I make in campaign won't get wiped out when I can actually link my account correctly.

Same with me. Was able to login the first time, got to the customization screen, it said all call sign variants taken (obviously impossible), killed the game and am now not even able to login anymore due to the server load.

Come on Paradox, you guys are a professional publisher IIRC...
