if it says "pending-complete payment" on gamersgate then i beleive if you leave that order alone then you wont get charged for that order. however all orders on gamersgate that say complete actuelly have charged you.
yes, i know. but clickandbuy says on my account, that the money is transfered to gamersgate. i would love to let that order alone and make another one with paypal, but maybe then, my money will be lost...
im confused, so you want to buy the game twice?? if your brought it once with CnB and now GG says complete on one then your ok u just have to wait till release, however if ur saying on GG's end its pending but CnB's end its done then i guess urve got a problem.
EDIT: scrub what i just said i read again ur post, how did you manage to make CnB charge you twice for the same order?? anyway i think GG is really busy atm so it may take them sometime to get back to you as they have to sort out this CnB thing for alot of people. i would wait a day or two for a reply, u have till next friday till u actuelly start missing out, so if its not fixed in a week and u really want the game on the 7th Aug then go ahead and paypal or paynova it again cos they actuelly work. you should be able to get the full 80 euro back if you tell CnB i want to cancel it all as they made a mess up.

first payment CnB said there occured an error so i tried it again but both payments went through to CnB and yes, CnB sais order where done corectly but GG say its pending. Guess i have to wait but i hate such things, even more

Same with me, I sent several emails, no answer, I called their 24/7 phone service, the only answer is from an automatic voice recorder that gives you another phone number in Germany which is supposed to answer 24/7 in English, I called and I got another voice recorder that - in German ( I understand the language, even if I am not fluent ) - informed me that their 24/7 service works only a couple of hours a day, a couple of days at week...I had the same problems and finally gave up and used PayPal (didn't spot it as an option initially - too much of a rush to order HOI3). They didn't have the courtesy to answer emails about the issue either

Pretty much the same rant as most of the people there against Click and Buy.
They don't process cards, but more importantly, don't feel obliged to even answer the phone line they set for customer service and they don't answer e-mails.
I would strongly suggest Gamersgate to find another e-payments provider in their place, they give you bad name.

This happened to me, and I finally decided to buy through PayPal. Imagine my surprise when my credit card company called me the next day to ask about a $0.50 charge to Click and Buy they believed to be fraudulent.
Being of slightly below average intelligence, I of course had no idea what they were talking about and had them cancel the credit card account.
Needless to say, I won't be buying from Gamersgate with my (new) credit card again unless they find a better way to process the payments.

i recommend using the paynova payment option at GG that worked for me fine after all the bad service from CnB
Click and Buy is total rubbish. It asked me to register my credit card account and then it kept on stating that it needed another card to buy the game. So it refused a card it just had registered. And I couldn't do any other operation at that point - there's no more option at that point - seems like a dead end. It also asked me to verify the card with doing some cray test-debiting and crediting.
Come on, who programmed this nonsense - it's not professional.
Pay Pall worked allright. It was my 7'th game purchase on GG and the first time ever an online buy that I encountered that kind of problems.
And don't expect people to put effort in this kind of trouble by reporting the issues - Paypall works all right and thank god it does ! It took my one hour to find out that Pay Pall worked all right, where click and buy failed.

I did clickandbuy, but I didn't verify my card, which I don't think is necessary, it costs you around 2-3 euro's and it already shows on my card's overview as;

I tried to use CnB; it could not handle our national currency... So I gave up after wasting some money and severeal tries. Pay Pal just did the trick without any problems.
Now if someone had just said this in the gamersgate forum as well... Some of us have been asking for help with failed GG orders via CnB there without getting any response.
I made my purchases via paypal instead since I ran into my own problems with them but it would be nice to remove those pending orders from one's gamersgate account.
Also the entire click & buy thing makes one worried. I find myself thinking "What kind of company did I just let you guys talk me into giving my credit card information to?". The fact that they actually charge your account small amounts of money in order to just "verify" it isn't exactly reassuring (sure it's added as store credit but as I'll likely not ever use that account that's some lost money).

As I do not have an PayPal or Paynova account and I do not want to get one either, I'd like to know if I can pay with credit card using click and buy without any 3rd Party account (and of course, why I couldn't choose click and buy in the first place).

I tried it, but during the purchase it said that an Paynova account will automatically be created. I do not want that.
