Error on click and buy

When i go to pay for hoi3 throught gamersgate with click and buy i get this error "An error occurred communicating with the merchant website. Please try again later or contact the provider as purchase is temporarily unavailable" I have gone through all the steps of verifieing my card and it has been accepted but it wont let me pay ironically. Has this happened to any1 else or do oyu know why it is happening? All help much appreciated.

It did not accept my card the second time I wanted to buy on GG. So in the end I transfered money to it via normal back transfer and bought the games.
And as another topic testify there are quite many people who could preorder the game.

i should have ordered by paypal i dnt know what i was thinking but now ive regestered on click and buy i have £3 credit there from the verification

I used the same method you did and had no problems at all. I would recommend going back and re-checking all the data to make sure you didn't type in one digit by mistake. I did that the other day on another site and took me a few minutes to realize it, then it worked fine.

I had the same problem with ClickandBuy, their so-called "service" is simply awful.
I cancelled my order ( the GG staff has been quite helpful and kind) and I placed a new one with Paypal, it went through in seconds, with the same credit card.

it cnt be card details cos i got billed the verification fees without a hitch, it must be their end not mine. if i cancel my order using click and buy i shall loose that £3 which well i dnt want to. can i get it back do u think??

I ordered through clickandbuy slow method on sunday and it got through yesterday, which is the minimum time they reserve to process it, woohooo!!!

It could happen if you use Firefox and some extensions like for example firebug ( but I suspect than only web developers use that ) it can interfere with payments systems and captcha. I found that issue recently with many different payments providers.

I had the same problems and finally gave up and used PayPal (didn't spot it as an option initially - too much of a rush to order HOI3 ). They didn't have the courtesy to answer emails about the issue either

I had trouble with click and buy too. Paynova worked perfectly for me though, only took a minute, and I didn't have to make an account with them even.

We have some issues with CnB, so if you experience problems try PayPal / Paynova instead.

i would if they could re-imberse me the money from verification, but click and buy have set it as "store credit" and well every £ counts in this economical climit so i dnt want to loose it.

I was having the same problem last night... I was using paynova though.

i gave up in the end with click and buy, i reordered with paynova and they are incredibly easy, it took like a minute literally, i suggest GG get rid of click and buy cos they aint working(for alot of ppl me included). on a side note my second order 3 days from my first has an order number more than 27000 bigger. Looks like GG are doing good with like 10000 orders a day and im guessing most are for HOI3

i have still problems with clickandbuy. i preordered hoi3 on monday and got serveral error messages from clickandbuy but it ended with double transfer of 2x 39,99 euro. my account at clickandbuy says one part of the money goes to gamersgate but my gg account says still pending.

so clickandbuy aswerd to my mails (5 !) and say, i have to clear the things up with gamersgate - lol - and the other 39,99 euro will be pay back (what didnt happend to this day... )
gamersgate does not even react on my 2 mails per day so i end up with spent 80 euros ! and no preorder. i am really angry.

seems i still have to wait, cause doing another order with paypal means 120 euro for hoi which seems a little bit high but on the other hand, it fells like i wont see money back.

in my personal oppinion, click and buy is not serious.

any ideas?

I purchased the game via Gamersgate and clicknbuy, and it went ok, however I notified Gamersgate about a possible problem (browser compatibility?) when using the BankID. So I am thinking that someone might be in the process of making changes or something.

I suggest to contact Gamersgate and describe any problem you might have, as they might find it helpful.

I purchased the game some days ago, so if they are making any changes to anything with the payment system, I am thinking that it might be due to me contacting them.
