Error message/Shut down game

Hello, i have recently acquired Crusader kings 2, and whenever i try to play it, i can start the launcher up, it goes through all of the Loading for sounds, history, ETC... Then, i get this message: "Runtime Error! ck2.exe The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an usual Way" If posible, i would like some help solving this problem so i can play!

Please try the following:

Download and run the DirectX (web) installer
Download and run Visual C++ 2010
Download and run Visual C++ 2010 SP1
When that is done, go to Windows Update and make sure you have downloaded and installed all .NET updates Windows Update gives you

I did everything you told me and i am still getting the same error message and crashing.

Please try a full clean reinstallation

Important: Go to '..\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\save games\' and copy all the save games you want to keep outside the folder
* Uninstall Crusader Kings II.
* Steam users: uninstall the game from within steam by right clicking on the game and select "Delete content"
* Go to the folder where you installed Crusader Kings II in, and check if the Crusader Kings II folder is removed. If not, delete the entire folder
* Steam users: Installation folder can be found at: '..\Steam\SteamApps\common\'
* Go to '..\My Documents\Paradox Interactive\' and remove the entire Crusader Kings II folder
* Re-install the game - Make sure to install the game outside the 'C:\Program Files\' or 'C:\Program Files (x86)\' folders, as it can cause issues with permissions
