I don't know if there was a patch last night. No sight of 3221225785, but 3221225477 still persists for me. My windows and drivers are up to date.

Windows 10 version 1607, OS build 14393.5850 (updated today)
Geforce Game Ready Driver V 472.12 released 09/20/2021 (newest driver for my GTX 1060 6GB)

I tried launching from launcher, .exe, and .exe as administrator and all three seem to give identical error logs.

Hmm odd, if you updated your Windows OS you shouldn't have this crash anymore. We're adding an additional fix for this in the next update so that should be getting addressed for you with that

I'm on enterprise version yes, though it is updated.

Specifically I'm on:
OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise N 2016 LTSB
Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393 (which is freshly updated one)

Is there something with enterprise that doesn't work? It's been good for many other games.

It's mostly just a really old version of Windows 10 that doesn't quite have everything we expect Windows 10 to have. We're pushing a fix specifically for this to hotfix in a bit.

Yes, I have the Windows 2016 Enterprise version. I tried to update, it doesn't work, an error constantly pops up.Not through the microsoft website, not through the downloaded version, and that's it. What to do? To reinstall Windows completely from scratch with a new version, this means you need to buy a separate version, demolish the entire old system and reinstall EVERYTHING from programs. Or I can wait for a patch for this version of windows. What other options do I have?

After todays 04.05.2023 hotfix I tried both regular and "hotfix beta" branches of AoW4.

In both versions I got new error "0x887A0001" right after I pressed Play in Paradox Launcher or after I run "AoW4.exe".

I've send crash log via pop-up form.

One thing to note - this time AoW4 window (black screen) was opened and I've seen game cursor. To my pity I can't capture this window and cursor via Printsreen action.

Looks like the previous error message got fixed!

I'm not getting any errors or crash anymore, but my game screen is black throughout the intro animation and in main menu. I hear the intro voices and 'Welcome to Mage Heaven', but the screen remains black as the music plays. I do see the ingame mouse, though neither clicking nor pressing buttons does anything. I can access steam overlay while in game also.

As you said, the same problems, the same black screen...But the most interesting thing is that the sound goes fine.
