Ok, in general, I like most of the Reapers Due stuff and I'm not really annoyed at the overall level of diseases... But, epidemics infecting my council members when they're off doing stuff - especially my Spymaster in Constantinople - is really annoying. I watch my home provinces for any sign of disease, and whenever diseases come into my realm the 'shut the gates' appears to remind me to doublecheck and see where in my realm it is, then keep an eye on it.
But I have no warnings, no information about the diseases happening in other places on the map. Is there a disease ravaging Constantinople? Usually the first news I have of it is when my awesome spymaster dies of whatever the goddamn hell it is this time. Or an epidemic in the place my chancellor is fabricating claims on? Yep, again, first news I get is when they keel over.
If I could set a message to pop up whenever a disease strikes a province one of my councillors is working in, it would give me the option to recall them, at least, although to be honest, I feel like I'd just rather have them not subject to diseases where they're working. The whole idea of where they are is...kind of wonky anyway, considering they can be in Constantinople, as well as in my court, basically at the same time.
At least, I think at least more message settings to do with these diseases would be useful. I tried setting 'disease outbreak' in message settings to give me a popup, but I haven't noticed it doing so, so it must mean something different than what I think it means. I'd like to be able to set whether to get a popup anytime there's an epidemic in various places: in realm, in my or my vassals' territory, in my demesne, in my capital, in a province my army is in, in a province my councilor is in. Also in provinces my close relatives are landed in, if I have landed relatives (including wife).
