So I was thinking about how Crusader Kings 2 had Reapers Due come out and represents different epidemics during that timeline, but what about during the EU4 timeline? There are certain events such as a flu outbreak, but I was thinking about actual epidemics that occurred. What do you think if there were random events added that represented epidemics that have a negative effect on your sailors and manpower? Or if it occurs in a colony it could take away a certain amount of settlers? It would add some historical accuracy. Link below to timeline of epidemics.

no more influenza pls, what could be fun is increased chance of some epidemics at certain devastation levels or starvation if you lack trade or provinces with livestock and grain via a food supply mechanic of some sort
