We need a new option when creating a game on how often random events and event chains happen. Sometimes I just want a nice slow game where I build a huge empire peacefully, and other times I want to be constantly at war with everything Stellaris can throw at me with my war-born empire.

Something like:

Enigmatic galaxy scale
Tooltip - Determines how frequently events and event chains occur.

Enigmatic - Chances of events and event chains occuring are increased, and the time between them is reduced
Normal - Current Stellaris event and event chain chances and cooldowns
Smooth - Chances of events and event chains occurring are decreased, and the time between them is increased

Or something along those lines.

> build large empire peacefully
> constantly at war

These toggles exist already. It's called your Ethos- choose the ethos that best matches the playstyle you want to experience. Some people want peaceful diplomacy and space friendship

Some people want a realm which knows only war- you can choose how this plays out based on your ethics choice. Added redundant toggle-options are unnecessary

Ok, wrong example then. Sometimes I want to focus on micromanagement, like how I play Civ, and other times I like to focus on the story and event chains. Thats what the toggle is for, whether or not I want a peaceful game with few alert bleeps, or event alerts crowding my alert bar to the point where they start triple stacking.
Why would you ever want to decrease the amount of events... there should be more imo
Its just for equality. I, personally, want to increase the amount of events per game, but some people may prefer less.
