I see, only Jin's AP was lower than the rest of the scouts (and Boone's too) with 7 as the others have 8 but that wasn't changed. Besides the AP she was just as the rest of them I think. Sorry I'm not arguing I just don't get it :)

We are looking into this - and also the balance itself of the tools and clothes etc!

The tools are all right I think as I measured: tier 1 looses 1% of durability ever 2 hours tier 2 looses 1% in every 3 and tier 3 looses 1% in every 4 hours. So tier 1 lasts for 8.3 days, tier 2 lasts for 12.5 and tier 3 lasts for 16.6 days. It seems pretty all right!

No problem at all - so firstly - the Specialists in the pregame selection are different than the rest of the ones that are in the game, so my earlier comparison was against Boone specifically, as he is the only Scout type Specialist in that selection. Apologies for not being clearer on that, I remembered that there were three of them for some reason.

So right now, in the game, Boone has a higher Recovery rate but a lower Research rate than Jin - before he had a higher Recovery rate but their Research skill was the same - giving Boone a clear advantage, even though they are supposed to be pretty much equal. You can see this same kind of variation with the rest of the Specialists there - even with the same type of Specialist, there is a difference between one skill and another - but all of that same type should more or less be equal to each other. So this change was implemented to fix that, to ensure that there is no "penalty" in choosing Jin - as she is just as good of a scout as Boone is :)
