English text file now available!!

While depressed at missing Paradox Con 2004 in Lille (glad you all had a great time guys), I had a look at the IFU (well I thought this graveyard would suit my mood ).

I noticed that the English translation is no longer available, soooo....

I ran the events through an on-line translator (so they are very barely English), translated the cultures, religions and country names and created rudimentary contempory techs. I also corrected some .inc files that had double province ownership and incorrect cultures.

I aim to go through the events again, this time myself and to turn the proto-English descriptions into easier to decipher English, but until then it is a start.

(I had to create a website to host this and it is my first one - it shows )

thats it for now. As I say, I will improve the English translation later. I know this mod is effectively dead, but I will still tweak it regardless.

Sure.
At the moment I am rehauling the whole of the IFU and bringing it up to date with 1.08. (new tags, event commands etc). Everything from the IFU is done except for events (needs to be renumbered and such) and this is taking some time (I also am going to redo some of the major events, particularly the break up of Francia, so that it is more accurately portrayed). The end date has been decreased to 1150 (1419 is too long and besides the MES is a fantastic mod which begins at that date, so it would be better represented there).

So, when I have retagged the IFU events, i will place the modded IFU for upload and we will see where we go from there (bound to be errors).

Some things you could possibly help me with at the moment....
What would be the English translations of: the places/people Semgaller, Lettgaller and Poljnen (sp!)?

Oh, will also put up another thread on current tags, id numbers etc.
