English Monarchs

I am not to sure if this is done already, but what the hell:

towards the end of the game, i think britain should get the Prime ministers it had as monarchs (say, after 1770 or sumthing) because, especially in the napoleonic wars, it was the Prime Ministers that did most of the work (see William Pitt's).

what do ou guys think?

Altough parliament and the Prime Minister did much more in terms of running the country, the King still held a very powerful position. Regarding the Napoleonic Era (or pre-Napoleon), George III still held much sway in the government, and one of the problems facing William Pitt was what to do with the King. Maybe a new event could be created (I'm not sure if there's one similar to this, as I almost always quit England before 1730) concerning the "madness of George III," in which Pitt and Parliament try to seize more power for themselves. I haven't scripted any events yet, but the two/three choices could be: "More power to the King" (stab -3, cent +2, inv -2), "Keep it as it is" (rr +3 for 60 months, inv -1, arist -1), or "More power to Parliament" (cent -3, arist +3, inv +2). Well, I sort of contradicted what I said at the beginning, but the first two options could give you typical English monarchs, and the latter option Prime Ministers. Just my opionion.

In the current EEP version, there are events for England that simulate this. Essentially, you receive the Prime Ministers as adjustments to the monarchs ADM/MIL/DIP values for the appropriate number of months. The first such minister is Pitt the Younger. In 1789, if the French Revolution occurs, you choose between either Pitt as Prime Minister (for a hardline against France) or Charles James Fox as Prime Minister (for an accomodation of France & a focus on domestic politics). If Pitt is chosen, the historical Prime Ministers ensue accordingly. If Fox is chosen, alternate Prime Ministers ensue (mainly Whigs & moderate Tories). If the French Revolution does not occur, you receive Pitt & the subsequent historical Prime Ministers. George III is still the King, but his minister affects how effective he is (Pitt increases the ratings, someone like Grenville does not).
