England won't leave the Isles

Well as it says in the top post.
England joined the protestant league. Our leader thought that it would be a good idea to declare war.
He had a 17/0/0/24 fleet in London, with 24 stack there... And guess what the AI decides to do.
It loads the troops in the fleet. Sends them to Northumberland and then walks them back to London.
While we are getting pummeled due to this.
Anybody got a bloody idea how to get them to leave the Isles?

This is at least preferable to what usually happens to England, when they send their armies of to far off places to be destroyed, then find the country is overrun with rebels. I think I would do the same thing & stay at home, unless there was sufficient advantages in fighting abroad

The thing is that they have to tell the Protestant League leader AI this aswell. That's all I'm complaining.
It was him who declared the war and I was on his side.

Its what they did historically as well.

England only sent like 3000 volunteers to fight in the 30 years war.

When I tried a quick France save England never bothered to try and invade after I had wiped out the starting armies on the continent, which is a sensible. Aftrer that war finished and the War of Roses ended, after only about a month, they fought Burgundy and landed 20k troops to whip them.
