Anyone win the war without going bankrupt in 1.5? It way easier in previous version. Any strategy/guide to share?

You should no longer be able to call another nation into your war with France by calling them into a war against some other nation.Try using this guide. The only changes you need to make from this is that because the great power modifier(although maybe 1.5.1 changed this) you can only have one ally and sometimes you have to restart because they rival you. If you only manage to get one ally, let france carpet siege them before taking their stacks one by one with your troops
I used 1.5 and it worked for me. So I guess it does workYou should no longer be able to call another nation into your war with France by calling them into a war against some other nation.
I tried and surprisingly succeeded(After lots of failed attempts). Try using this guide. It worked!! Thanks for the guide Shump!![]()
No problem
Anyway, it should be doable even without foreign intervention, MadDjinn and Shen have done it post-patch, so I guess its doable. War of the Roses and Burgundy remain the biggest threat, so you need to ally at least Castile at minimum, pref. both Austria and Castile to keep Burgundy at bay while you deal with France and its vassals.
