if you move your capital to the lowlands the dutch don't revolt, or you can culture convert all the dutch provinces (moving your capital is much cheaper)

If you want to have the netherlands as a vassal your best bet would be to keep the area fractured into OPMS and hold one dutch province yourself. You will automatically be at war with the netherlands when they spawn out of that one province, and since it's only one province, you can 100% and vassalize them really fast (you need to be REALLY fast to make it before all the dutch OPMS join).

Alternatively if you full annex the netherlands they lose all their cores. (same as above but annex instead of vassalize)



Since you'll need diplo ideas for annexation cost reduction anyway, you should try to become emperor of the HRE.

Ok so now this. Whats the most effective, efficient way to go from here? This is the best campaign I've had so far.

Austria is a good get, but not as good as you would think. Since they're juniors in a PU, they lose emperorship and won't get any of their events to get burgundy / hungary / bohemia / spain. They're not even an elector so you won't get that on inheritance. It's a nice bit of land but less importantt than France and Spain.

To answer your question, your domination of western europe is basically assured. You can pretty much do whatever you want at this point. If it were me, after finishing your war with Poland and taking Norway's islands (Just to make sure you're the only one in the new world), I would go pick a fight with the Ottomans and the Mamluks, maybe restoring Jerusalem while you still can, and assuring that nobody is going to sneak through the persian gulf or the red sea to beat you to India and Australia. Plus it's just fun and satisfying to grind the ottomans beneath your heels.

Theres a strong alliance between The Ottomans, Russia, Bohemia, and Sweden. Bohemia is growing through Hungary and Poland.

I'm finishing off Aragon and will probably work on conquering Italy next.

Starting to Integrate France in 1584
