Hey all, I've finally decided to start the game off with England in 1419. I've never played as England but I'm used to seeing England lose French culture in 1453. How do I stop that from happening? Thanks.

You cannot change in a normal game, but you can change in EU II files. You go to English events and then find the event that removes French culture. When you find it delete the event or delete only line that removes French culture. For me I wouldnt do it because it is slightly like cheating but it is your choice. Good luck with England.

You don't need to change any event files. You can easily prevent that in-game.
All you need just to keep the following 6 provinces under English control:
Normandie, Poitou, Gascogne, Calais, Picardie, Caux. As long as those provinces are yours, you will not lose the French culture.
