listen, i know of the sillyness that some will go with to show their "grey eminence". C'mon, some strnage looking Ethiopians living for 300 years? And then getting sent back to the lands of the Haudenosaunee? And soon getting sent to the Teutons(yes, I am doing a third installment, but possibly when EU2 comes out) And then using a mystical, magical "Stuff"? Nothing but hooey. But it serves a purpose. The game is more important than setting up how the grey eminence survives. And since you seem to be taking the "family" approach, it should be ok.Originally posted by Sharur
Don't worry about the deep explanation, Brad. After all, how many people have had immortal characters by less trustworthy means (like that Brotherhood of whatever in Bohemia). It doesn't detract from the story, and I think you do a great job. Just one request: try to do as many comparisons as possible to the history that your character is used to (he'd be thinking of that anyway), it makes for interesting reading. Good job!
Good luck, and make certain that the dang-ed French don't tkae Calais away from you
