This was probably a design decision, but very bad for playability

It was very handy to see the energy go up or down as you sold or bought other resources. Now we have to keep changing focus from market to topbar to see the changes

Is no one else annoyed with this? Couldn't find any posts regarding this.

Well, the most efficient way to use the market is to do monthly purchases, not to buy in bulk, so I think for a lot of people it just doesn't make too much of a difference. When I do bulk purchases, it's in the late game, and there I spam the button until the energy is gone.
Didn't even notice it was gone until I read your post to be honest.

I do think you're making a good point though. Don't really see a good reason not to have the information in the market UI.

don't think I've ever made monthly purchases in over 11k hours lol

I just buy what i need when i need, usually by selling other resources, and not having the energy right there is really annoying

Seems like a very arbitrary change, when all it gains is 1 slot which isn't really needed

No I agree, I dislike it intensely, I've misclicked a number of times because it was missing....

I also find the new UI for starbases to be....disruptive.
