For some reason in my game the AI has stopped doing anything. It's like they don't trigger unless some of my mechs are EXTREMELY close to them and then not even always. When I say they don't to anything I mean they do absolutely nothing, not even guard. It was nice having a few freebies for a while but now it's just boring.

Anyone know what's up or how to fix it?

I had this happen once with the last enemy and even destroying it didn't end the battle contract. Submit a bug report and make sure to capture your output_log.txt from that gaming session before you re-start the game.

I did see a bug in Cohh's stream of BT where a destroyed mech stayed standing, had a status bar, but wasn't taking actions or a valid target. It also didn't count towards the mission objective. Saving and reloading mid-match fixed it. I'm wondering if it isn't all the same bug?

Possibly I guess but my enemy mechs are definitely still alive, they just seem to lack and desire to stay that way. Anyway, I submitted a bug report for it and attached a save if anyone wants to see whether it replicates.

One of my battles last week had a Wolverine that seemed to be "stuck" facing a cliff. He didn't move nor shoot, I just surrounded him and peppered him with ML fire until he died.

It hasn't happened since though.

I had one battle where the enemy did nothing for one turn but then started acting the next turn. It was very odd.

I wish that I had generated a saved game and grabbed the log for a bug report, but I didn't.

I've had missions where whole groups of AI 'Mechs just refuse to shoot anything for several turns, only for the behaviour to eventually clear up. I was in an assault lance as well, so it couldn't be low to hit numbers confusing them.

The turn your back to the enemy when bracing bug also seems more common then before.

Had a couple of instances of the “no fight” enemy. One I remember is that 2 of the 4 reinforcements were landed “outside” the mission boundary line. They just stood there until I legged the for the salvage.
