Hi,
I am playing as Ottoman in Ironman mode with all expansions, and I am plagued by endless revolts. For the last 100 years, even in provinces I have controlled for almost 150 years there are an endless cycle of large revolts. 3+ 15 - 20 unit stacks, sometimes up to 40 unit stacks if its a peasant revolt in my turkish/sunni core provinces. I also take huge losses when crushing these revolts so my manpower is constantly low.
How are you supposed to control this, I seem to spend more time suppressing the revolts than doing anything else. As a result in the last 50+ years I have conquered 0 provinces and lost several to predatory neighbors. While I don't mind a challenge this is starting to become very frustrating
I am probably doing something wrong, if so I would appriciate some pointers.
Best Regards,
B.
