End game option for Unlimited Time

I would love it if the game were simply open-ended enough and moddable enough that we could create a user mod that would take us through the interwar period, through WWII and beyond.

I would like to see the post WWII era represented, just so you can have the cyclical experience of the rise and fall of the colonial empires. Or so you can try to forestall said fall.
