Yes, they exist in the game, but are so bugged that they are utterly unplayable...

Are there any plans at all in the works for an HIP module that would repair the AI related issues with Enatic and Enatic-Cognatic succession and make them fully playable? I think that would absolutely amazingly awesome...

Yes I know that no unambiguously matriarchal societies are known to have ever existed, so it wouldn't terribly historically accurate, but hey, it's much less of a suspension of disbelief than the Aztec invading Europe IMO... I think playing a matriarchal society would be a very interesting and fun gameplay challenge for someone who is looking for something new and different...

No plans, no. Those succession laws are messed-up, and there's not much we can do about it. [The succession itself is buggy.]
