Well, as Germany I got units under weapons all over the world. Let's say I helped out the Italians and fought back the Allies back to the borders of belgium africa. Suddenly a new warfront was opened by the russians as they declared war on me in the east of my realm. k, I say. Let's push 'em back to the ural or even pacific coast...

Now my african units maybe need to stop their offense. Eventually I have to redirect some of my Airwings to the eastern frontier. At least I need to withdraw some units to strenghten my anticomintern wall.

In this point my quick units should be reinforced with some brigades to give them more quality for defence. Let's say I want to attach a few AT's, AA's and some Artillery.

To fullfill this Task I have to bring 'em back within the mainland borders of Germany. Uh... what a mess?!

I simply ask you to proof if it is possible to use TC to bring some Brigades to Alexandria, from where I can reequip my units in afrika.

How to realize this within the structure of the game I don't know. Maybe my TP-Fleet can do a further Mission e.g. "Brigade Shipment" to carry that stuff to Alexandria. I'm pretty sure that this would be an useful enhancement for our gameexperience.

I guess this limitation has been implemented so players don't exploit it and min/max brigade effects, i.e.: equip a unit with engineers, move with increased rate towards your objective, unequip engineers and equip artillery/at, enjoy the increased firepower.

For sure I don't want to take away a brigade from a unit in norway and attach it 2 days later in alexandria to another unit.

As an simple example: In the beginning of a GC'36 germany has no landconnection to Königsberg. The units there own at least one brigade. When you take away the brigade it still is only available in the provinces that have a landconnection to Königsberg, after a few days for redeploying passed by.

My only thought is to exchange the brigades between this 2 zones by using Transportvessels. If an enemy sub sank that vessel the equippement will be gone too.

Not being able to ship brigades around bothered me for about a game and a half. After that, I realized that the best way to handle brigades is to attach an Engineer brigade to all ground units when built, and then ship them off to the warzone. Problem solved, little research, IC, or TC needed.

Well, it is a pain that you have to attach the brigade to a division to get it overseas. You should perhaps be able to deploy them in owned territory (not only national)?

It would not have been a problem if you could put them on a ship, but now you have to either bring the division to recieve the brigade back to your homeland or use a division in your homeland as a "host" for shipping.

Think you're right about that, but I don't think it would be that ahistorical. The USA has always attached/detached brigades for individual operations. The above situation's just a little more extreme.
