Empty messages

Recently when playing the game, on mods and without, around a week into a game I get bombarded by over 10 messages with no text, and no way to get rid of them. My only option is to save game, then load it, etc. Any help?

What version and checksum show when you load up the game with no mods active?

With no DLC - GMVC - 1.08

JQDK - is the correct checksum. If you are using steam verify your game integrity and check your checksum again.
