His Imperial Highness, Louis XVIII de Valois, Emperor of France, wishes to inquire upon a possible settlement over the current state of the Caribbean and both France's and Hispania's colonies within the region. A diplomat shall be dispatched to Valencia if His Imperial Highness, Alfons VIII de Trastámara, and his ministers are ready to discuss the subject.
((Seeing as we don't really have anything to vote on yet, we may as well use the time to handle the Caribbean issue brought up during the Council of Rome. Anyone is free to propose a possible solution, although the chancellor and diplomats should take charge. I also wanted to use this opportunity to point out that France is now an empire too. I'll include a screenshot of the Caribbean and the islands France is interested in.
