Have you tried verifying your game files (Steam only)?
No

Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I was playing along and saved the file. Then went to reload after I made a mistake and the game would not load. This has happened twice now.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Save somewhere I few hours in after doing a battle.

How much "pain" is this causing you?

I had the same problem it sucks i lost all my game and did the same things . But they are going to fix it we just have to be patient.
