Have you tried verifying your game files (Steam only)?

Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Basically
To leave the game I have to either press the home Xbox Button and quit the game or press the in-game menu to quit to the main menu so it pauses the game so I can leave and because of that the game still thinks it's paused so I don't make any booze or money whilst I am out of the game.
the only way I can make booze and money is to be in the game.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Basically, try to leave the game

Yeah basically somehow log onto my account and leave the game

The only solution I've found is if I have 5 rackets and 3 breweries
However, I have to keep 5 rackets and breweries and keep them open
