Hey @Kalli, sorry to hear you've encountered an issue. This sounds like one we are currently looking into. Do you ever find that adjustments are being made to alcohol types that you don't produce at all? Can you recall any specific gameplay steps you've taken in the lead-up to noticing this?

There wasn't anything odd that I was doing. Generally I just set production to what I need to feed my rackets, usually using breweries that can't produce whiskey yet. Everything else is set to produce whiskey. Then I noticed a really high overall production, but I didn't see any additional production, the amount that was actually being added to my stores looked normal. Then just recently my available whiskey for sale dropped from in the 600 units/week to 100 units/week. I know I am producing way more than that and my consumption is no where near high enough to account for drop. Whatever is causing the error is in the save game too.

Would it be safe to assume you had numerous standing orders of different types of alcohol that you had and ended? By chance did every time you end a standing order did it not readjust the amount of alcohol properly or did it show as negative consumption or did it seem to "double dip" for example selling 100 whiskey and after ending standing order it reflects -200 for that specific order but it shows no standing order and you are not receiving payment anymore frotthat major/minor faction? Reason I ask is that is what has happened to me but in my case it showed all the negatives but unlike you even tho it showed it that way I still produced the correct amount after the math was done. So say it showed I was -1500 but in reality I was producing 500 I still got the 500 but it still said -1500. Someone else has a similar issue with alcohol on a different thread and I also chimed in and provided snapshots and description of what was going on ... just don't remember the exacts. Maybe that will help with finding where the issue is in your save and fixes can be done to this error in the game. However, as far as your gameplay goes hopefully it debugs itself or a happy error occurs where it adjust your alcohol properly like it did for me but if not your out of luck and either open up a bunch of more breweries to overcome this issue as I did in one of my other gameplays I has similar issues with to satisfy yourself, keep it the way it is and deal with it or restart a new game. I know it sucks but the is the best that will happen from what I have noticed. Good luck

there's another post I replied to. Also I am not talking about standing orders that still stay even after going to war with who you had a standing order with. I am not sure when that became a thing but last I played going to war and even after, the standing order still remained which I thought was ok because it didn't effect me plus I was getting paid still. It was with a small faction I was selling 100 whisky to so yeah, good money there :)

to add to my question about standing orders being cancelled. It accumulated in my instances so every time I cancelled one it would keep adding up. example, set one up for 100 whiskey and then cancel it later it would sow as -200, do that with 5 factions it would show as -1000 and so on. Not only does it account for what was already being sold but also acts as if I re-set it up when it should have cancelled but when you go into the trade screen with that faction it shows you cancelled and need to set it up again ... but will add that whatever amount amount to your consumption if you do ... never found out what causes it or why it does it and it looks like it still hasn't been figured out so I can't say either. I'll look for the post where I posted snapshots of one of the instances I has this issue and post it in this thread as well.

@LukeBRG, here is that post I was talking about. In this one I post snapshots showing the issue with improper adjustments showing negatives when producing more than I need but showing negatives. It shows responses from you as well. It also has saves from other both this one and the previous link that may help identify OP's issues and help y'all resolve this as it may be linked. In every case I am not sure what triggers the bug/issue but In my cases it does have something to do with standing orders for sure. I now only do standing orders with minor factions in neighborhoods where I have no interest in taking over and are big enough to survive multiples attacks from other major factions and won't be wiped out only having 2 small rackets. Major factions are too unstable and very dramatic in the game and jump back and forth on a daily basis sometimes and they can be the ones to trigger this issue by cancelling a standing order themselves a second after you set one up with them ... not good with an issue like this, I have not yet experience this and don't want to risk it in my gameplays. Smaller factions are way more stable and solid in these matters and easier to maintain good relationships with etc. Wish we could sell them other items and see them expand as well, at least within their own neighborhoods, 3-4 more rackets at least. When at war with another faction they attack and can take over enemy rackets in their neighborhoods ... would be awesome to see and have that in the game. That's not what this is about I know ... so hope this helps further your investigation into this and it helps find a solution to this.

I haven't had many standing orders, however now that you mention it, a short time before I noticed all this, I had a bunch of minor factions doing one time orders. So maybe it just has to do with orders.

Hey @Kalli, thanks for getting back. That information is helpful. Orders would certainly affect your alcohol supply alright. Tell me, did you upgrade any rackets prior to noticing this too? As far as I'm aware, Ambiance has an effect on alcohol consumption too. Thanks for linking those other reports @AL82, these are the ones I was referring to alright. The team is currently looking into them, if you get a chance, @Kalli, could you perhaps take a look at them and see if anything in them sounds familiar to your situation?

I don't think I've cancelled that many standing orders, in fact I really only recall having 1 standing order and that one is still active.

This is what my rackets are consuming

Screenshot (2).png

I waited a couple of days to get my weekly production to pop and this is what I had

Screenshot (3).png

Note that my whiskey production is 701 units, my rackets are consuming 53 units and my standing order with the outfit is for 6, that is 59 units of whiskey. But if you look, you will see that my storage of whiskey only went up by 20 units. I am literally missing 622 units of production. Meanwhile my barrels on hand went from 291 units to 676. Which is only 385 units of production. If you add up the non-whiskey production, remove the premium consumption of 8 units and add in 20 units for the whiskey, it come out to 385 units. So the other production is working correctly. Only the whiskey is off. I also will mention that I am, for some reason, supposedly consuming 76 barrels of poison. I can only assume that if this has to do with orders, the requests from minor factions for 1 time sales, which I had a bunch of, is what has messed up my consumption numbers.
