I don't envy the Administration's situation. The Mess will be complete when Germany invades the SU. The Reich will have nothing to do with Fu Manchu could potentially reach the Pan-Asian Empire through Siberia (good luck maintaining those those supply lines ) on day. Most reasonable would be for Britain to accept German mastery over continental Europe and forge an alliance with both the Reich and the U.S. (as soon as they are attacked by China-Japan). There some 'small' ethical problems though...

Ah, but the Super Soldier programme went into trials (and ended through the death of its creator) only in 1940-41, so it's still in far from completition in late 1939... But if America can hold off the hordes of the Pan-Asian Empire long enough, HE might well make an appearance.

Although Doom is a time-traveller and as such may appear at any point in the timeline I think he actually took control of Latveria post-war.

Definitely! I love the Marvel Universe, but to include them in this story would hurt the atmosphere that Yogi has built. In contrast, Lovecraft and Howard works perfectly.

Just a question which has had me mind-boggled for some time now: didi you ever get to kick japan out of china before editting the game to create the Pan-Asian empire?

In the HOI 1 game, I kicked them out of China (except Shanghai) and Korea (except Pusan) and annexed Manchukuo. All editing post that was then done on the 1939 scenario.

I tend to agree with cthulhu here. This is a primarily a pulp rippoff, and while some comic (like Tintin characters) or movie (like Indy) elements set in this time might appear there will not be any wholesale inclusion of the Marvel Universe.

Having said that, there certainly will be some all American heroes who raise to meet the deadly threat of Fu Manchu against the Land of the brave and Home of the free. And while Captain America is far less disruptive than say Superman would be, since he's just an impossibly fit and well developed but otherwise normal human, I was having some other characters in mind for this...

Hmmm. Wolverine/Weapon X/Logan? He was around historically, I believe... ( Accordong to some hw was around historically in 1776, but that may just be wishful thinking on their part..) That depends I think, Captain America would fit. Possibly Sgt. Fury as well... They're both "low-key" enough to fit right in (along with Indy, Fu-Manchu and the rest)

I would never suggest including Namor or the Human Torch though
