Just started playing Emperor and I have a few suggestions for improvements:
1. The diplomacy menu somehow is smaller for 720p resolutions. I mean the menu filled with options like relation/influence/alliance/economy. Between the lowest shown "bar" and bottom border of the menu, there is enough place for at least 2 more "bars". And the bottom border of the menu could also be much lower. Compared to previous patches, I have to scroll a LOT more.
2. I played as the Papal States (though I don't think that info is relevant) and when the Council of Trent fired, I paused the game. At the religious menu, I change my stance to "harsh" and my seven cardinals got shown as supporting a harsh stance. But nobody else had yet changed their stance, so I could pick all four stances at the council of Trent with 100% support. I'm sure that is not now it was envisioned to work.
3. There is a Papal State mission to support the Holy League, which I can select, but the Holy League has not yet formed. A requirement of completing that mission should be that the Holy League has to be formed (or has been formed in the past)
4. Several Papal State missions are a bit weirdly worded. For example, the one where you need to have an ally/subject in the Balkans. It says something like this: All your allies/subjects in the Balkans get X, Y, Z. But in reality, they get X and Y, and the Papal States get Z. (in this case, I believe it was 100 military mana).
5. Regarding the Estates interaction, I would love the option to be able to look at all the possible estate privileges, even if I have given out the max. allowed privileges. As right now, I can't see if there might be a privilege I'd like to swap with a current privilege.
6. In the diplomacy macro, I had assigned one diplomat to maintaining relations with my subjects. My two other diplomats were manually assigned to maintaining relations with my subjects. I noticed my macro-assigned subject was being idle over several months, while one of my subjects could still have its relations improved. This persisted for multiple months and the relation could be improved by several dozens, so it was not as if it was 199 out of 200. I didn't really fully explore this, by removing my two manually placed diplomats, but my hunch is that they somehow clashed with the macro-diplomat.
