Eliminate Alaska colonial region

I know you have probably seen someone post before about removing the Alaska colonial region but here I will post my arguments. There are 13 provinces almost all with 1 base tax. Although California has 44 provinces I'm pretty sure it should merge with Alaska (as California or Cascadia) as it two has barely any 2 base tax provinces. Map of the current colonial regions:

I have an idea maybe just give Canada the north of California and merge Canada with Alaska, then 2 weak colonial regions will become a quite big one.

No. Why delete historical regions beco use they are poor? I Washington angry when they remove Guyana. Its like removing France becouse they are too poderfull.

I think it should be merged with California, or have the northwestern part of California and the Alaska region be renamed to something like Oregon
