Electors in HRE

There now only 3 electors in the HRE. I've been the wisely choosen as the controller for more than 100 years

But know 2 out of the remaining 3 are arch enemies. Is it possible to choose a new elector?
I remember I was offered to be an elector in another game by Mecklenburg

New electors can be chosen from nations with capitals in the HRE, I suppose if you were hated enough everyone might have left so there's no one to become an elector.

I'm no BB. I have really good relations, just not with Bohemia and Hungary.

Bohemia and Hungary are the BBs, causing electors to dissapire

So I can choose a new one? In which screen?

to get new electors quickly, get relations (150+) up with 1/2 province minors that are still alive.

you can also increase relations with mayors, but it can take a whole time before their capital becomes part of the empire cause of the random province event.

in my game the HRE includes whole of europe

No, you don't get to choose - it's an event which pops up for countries that are in the HRE and have good relations with the emperor.

One way you could encourage this would be to create a vassal within the HRE; they'd have good relations with you and would probably become an elector quickly.
