So, I've been encountering many issues with installing elder kings using the svn.
So I cant remember how I did it, because it was months ago, but for some reason I installed the elder kings svn on my laptop fine. It works completely okay, with no issues, but it looks a little different from what happens if you follow the normal instructions.
It looks like this
with green ticks by every single file. I don't know why it works, but it does, completely okay. So recently I built myself a new pc, and I was migrating my ck2 saves, some of which included a long elder kings Argonian playthrough. However when I followed the svn installation instructions there were no ticks, but everything seemed the same. So I launched up the game, with the version set to 2.4.5 like my laptop, and it crashed in a couple of seconds.
Then I tried to launch the game with conclave, on the normal version. It launched, but the traits were messed up completely, and many of the titles were broken, as well as the bookmark names.
I have no clue what's different about my laptop installation that makes it work fine, but I really need some help or insight.
Edit: I tried reinstalling it following the exact same instructions and the ticks showed, but now the mod itself doesn't show up, and nor do my other manually installed mods. Now only my workshop mods show in the launcher. I unsubscribed to every single mod and deleted all the workshop mods from my mods folder and they still show up in the launcher. I'm completely lost at the moment.
