Thanks for the work you guys are doing with this new expansion. I would like to suggest a tiny change:
The flag of the Spanish Empire was not the one that they have in EUIV. The real flag is the red cross of Burgundy. When Carlos I inherit the lands of Burgundy, the Spanish started to use the flag of the Order of the Golden Fleece as the national flag. I know that it can be confusing to implement this flag in the game for Spain (if Burgundy is still alive we would have the same flag for both countries), but it was also used the same flag in yellow and it could be much more realistic than the actual flag they have in EUIV.

iid rather spain doesnt use a flag of burgundy
sure the flag pack i use uses it, but its better to have flags that dont require history to have gone the same way it did in real life to make sense

The current Spain flag is a bit of an oopsie by those standards, then.
Changing Burgundy's flag to its coat of arms and giving Spain the Cross of Burgundy would be more aesthetically appealing than the monstrosity that is Spain's flag currently.

People are under the impression that there was "one flag" for the Spanish Empire. This isn't true. While it was widely used, the Burgundian saltire (on white, not gold) was not the "official flag". If there was an official flag, it was the monarch's coat of arms.

Which is way more accurate and plausible than the Burgundian saltire you posted.

Hey, people will use the nation designer if they want to. Someone wants to play Fart Kingdom of Farts? By all means. Not in my computer, but they can do whatever they please with their time.
What tribes, states...? Take a look at MEIOU&Taxes, which adds in more than 200 nations that Vanilla had missing.
I can think of one fun exercise with the nation designer: play as the Borgia Pope-Emperor in the year 1500 and have all my kings called Alexander and Cesare. Why not?

What we need is some dynamic flags. If Spain owns land in the Lotharingia region and Burgundy doesn't exist, then use the red cross of Burgundy.
It also would be nice for when major changes in goverments happen, ie revolutions or if you conquerer terriority and want a new flag to represent a new combined kingdom based on all your conquests.
Say I am playing Granada but I finally manage to conquer all of Iberia, Perhaps I might want a custom new flag to show the revived kingdom of Al-andalus. just as one random example.
This really saddens me, with the lack of mechanics for Eastern religions, the need for new Horde mechanics, and much needed espionage overhaul I am pretty annoyed to see any attention paid to such a silly area of EU4 especially after the already unneeded CoP.
you're right, the single biggest political, biological, economical and social event in human history (til the IR) since the rise of civilization itself, is a silly part that needs no working on from 1.0 mechanics

This all should have been added in Conquest of Paradise, I agree. But still, new content that was needed is not a bad thing. The EU4 equivalent of Sunset Invasion, that might have startled me a bit.
Anyway, when mods become as developed as current EU4 mods are, new DLCs are more like annoyances than they are welcome additions, since they mean a patch will come out and your mod-saves will be lost (unless you do the necessary steps to keep your game free of patches).

According to google "computatrum" but god only knows where they got it from.
It's also used by all wiki services (latin wikipedia and wikidictionary). /and a bunch of other dictionaries.
