No. The system has not been adjusted to support that rule.

And if it were to be so it would have to be discussed because the game is fairly far along now.

July 18th, 1942:

Germany remains supreme in continental Europe:

Finland Entered the war and Attacked Russia. Germany released the new fascist state of the Ukraine,

While in Asia Japan has collapsed under the combined weight of the British and American navies:
bblcjuly42jf5.jpg

The Home Island were occupied. Vietnam and Indonesia were released. Manchukou was annexed by the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile Russia clings to the hope that Winter will again abate the Nazi onslaught:
bblcrussiajuly1942cq4.jpg

Leningrad fell to Germany. The army was devided between Finland and Archangels.

The big question at the begining of this session, and the start of the summer campaign season, was wether or not Russia would survive another year, or be BP'd pretty much immediatly by the almost invincible German tank armies. Germany of course has other problems and the sudden collapse of Japan means that the shores of Europe are no longer safe from threat. Despite the debacle of Barbarossa in 1941, the Russians cling to the hope of a second front and the possibility of repreive.

Plenty of life left in this game. Even if Russia can survive will Allies be able to crack the Axis nut?

War plan pink !

No this update won't be about war plans said Churchill slowly sipping his tea. I am damn tired from plans and all those little schemers buzzing around me past 4 years, he said after drinking small sip of his tea ,enforced with whiskey judging from smell). I even had nightmares, especially terrible were last night. Oh you don't want to hear about it - doesn't matter, I will tell you about it anyway. Actually it was pretty simple - Japanese u-boat slowly appearing in cold spring morning, south of Ceylon, and shooting two torpedo at British cargo ship.

Watch notices them them only few seconds before impact, first one misses by several dozen feet, second detonates precisely bellow bridge. I hear violent blast, ship shakes terribly and brokes in 2 parts and all valuable tea cargo floats in burning sea till becomes too heavy and sink, ends old man and brokes down in tears.Did you know that during German u-boat offensive* We had only 2 week supply of tea, you can't imagine all that stress and strain I had to bear, concludes Churchill and slowly braces himself together. What we were going to talk about - oh, yes - Japan.

That campaign was a good show, all empire acting as one, Indian/Nepalese/Australian/French soldiers fightin' and dying for our glory...I actually managed to convince FDR to grant my guys lead over American soldiers for invasion. Did you know that invasion was my idea **, good one heh ? So I get one of few reasonable commanders I have to take charge, he ain't one of these schemers trying to look smart - but smart he is. Here is what he showed
47288214lo2.png
judging by ugly colors and amateurish look I suspect he draw it himself, but I didn't had to read trough all these papers, so it took me no long time to agree.

You wonder how we could undertake such an ambitious operation with plan that look like drawn in 4th grade ? He he, then you won't be surprised that it it didn't went as planned, assault aimed at Osaka were repelled by 2 dig-in garrison divisions with outdated equipment but excellent morale. Attack against Shikoku went as planned till one loser*** ordered to withdraw it, his fault was concealed in messy chain of command.

I was surprised how minor our losses were, we lost only 8 SS in all Pacific campaign, Americans took more heavy toll

American ship Bunker Hill burning after Japanese kamikaze aircraft attacks.

, but that was light prize to pay for all those new colonies we got. Oh, btw you know about our plans to completely de-industrialize Japan ? I took it one step further, I have ordered my men to create 5 year plan with ultimate goal to cover all Japan with tea plantations.

I cannot yet tell any specific information about United Kingdoms actions in western Europe. Yes I know what my people told to your people. That is how fortress Europe looks from our side
screensave4gm3.png

, areal reconnaissance reports roughly 6-7 divisions per province reinforced with armored formation and Wehrmacht special - panzergrenadiers. But don't loose faith yet for there is a plan, awesome plan, plan that cannot possibly fail

Ok, so we are all in for this game?

I guess the question here is what to do about Japan, does MG carry on, or does he move to another country. Does Axis need a Hungary minor or some such?

ukraine?

I love following mp games!

Interesting that germany have released Ukraine.

In our group you are not alowed to release puppets until you have annexed ,or in this case, before bitter peace. (we consider germanys TC troubles in the east a game balancing factor but there are a lot of ways to play the game :) )

I think it balances, the release causes dissent which increases TC load and decreases ESE.

The event for you isn't called Bitter Peace, its called "Italy joins Allies." What country you play after that is up to you, I guess.
