Hallo EIC-Fans!

You can access a fleet directly just by clicking on a portrait. On top part of the screen, you can also see what is the Main Trade Item (if any) for this port and how much of it is available. If the port has high demand for a particular trade item, it is also mentioned here. You can enter other parts of the port by clicking on corresponding tab. You can switch to a different port by clicking on the other ports listed on the left.
str_PORT_INFO_TRADING = Trading. On the left side is the local Trading Post. You can select your fleets or local warehouse, if any, on the right side. To buy or sell items, click the buy- or sell icon. This opens slider so you can easily choose the exact amount to be traded. You can buy items to a specific ship by first selecting the ship by clicking on its icon. If you have fleet commander selected, purchased items will be automatically distributed into your ships, starting from the largest trading ship. Items in your ships and warehouse show how much profit you get per ton if you sell the item in your current port.
str_PORT_INFO_NEWSHIPS = New ships. You can comission new ships to be built in any of your ports that has a shipyard. Some ships require higher level shipyards. Some ships do not become available until certain year and even then you have to pay to unlock them. Ships have long construction times but you can comission several ships at once. You can view both ships under construction and those already finished by clicking the Construction-tab. Note that you must move new ships into fleets before you can use them.
str_PORT_INFO_WAREHOUSE = Warehouse. On the left side is your local warehouse. You can select your fleets or local trading post on the right side. To buy or sell items, click the buy- or sell icon. This opens slider so you can easily choose the exact amount to be traded. Moving trade items between your warehouse and ships has the same logic. You can move items to a specific ship by first selecting the ship by clicking on its icon. If you have fleet commander selected, items will be automatically distributed into your ships, starting from the largest trading ship. Note that each item on Trading Post mentions a specific port, which currently gives the best profit for that item. Items in your ships and warehouse show how much profit you get per ton if you sell the item in your current port.

Click to select a ship and view its details or to open its cargo hold. You can drag and drop cargo items between the ships.\n\nYou can also add captured ships to your fleet, but note that the maximum number of ships in a fleet is five. In addition, you might not be able to add new ships to your fleet if you do not have enough crew to operate all the ships. If this is the case, you are notified upon trying to leave this view. You can also move ships from your side to the right side, effectively leaving them behind.\n\nMove ships by dragging. Note that if you remove a ship from your fleet, all cargo it has will be moved with it. Each ship on the right side will be scuttled as a default, but you can also select them to be added into a new fleet by checking the appropriate check box in their details.

str_QID_STRATEGIC_COMMANDER_INFO = You can view information about the commander of selected fleet here. Maximum experience level for a commander is five, and their salary is directly related to their experience along with the number of skills they possess. Move the mouse cursor over the icons to get a tooltip describing the skills effects.\n\nWhen your commander gains a level a green plus-sign appears here.
