eh? A weird game as SU

played stony road for the first time.

SU, Normal/agressive.

I got some conserns.

Why do the allies care if I invade Romania? (yes, I know its normal in 1.04, but still think it sucks.)
Why do the Germans got so extreme ammounts of diplomatic points.
They have allied Finland, Chekoslovakia, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Yoguslavia, Turkey, Persia and Afghanisthan.
This is already in 1940.
Third issue, is the worker effiency thing. It seems like it worsen the ratio's, couse I get WE1, after my first improved syntetic improvment.
I also run out of resoures by 1938.. (lack of coal, rubber)

No, it's just difficulty level. Stony Road starts right after V. Hard/Furious level...

Are you trading in the world market? My first game (after many months of not playing) had me scratching my head as to why my factories stopped working. I never used the world market before but after learning how, my economy now soars on the wings of eagles. Trade coal for rubber and oil and some steel.... have many trades like "100 coal for 100 oil" or maybe "200 coal for 100 oil" if the deals arent going through. Almost all my reasources are maxed out and my economy has never sputtered in my current game... I dont think I ever need to convert reasources either and I usually get a 1:1 trade.

If you dont trade, you will die.

When I go to war my entire economy crashes. Nobody trades with me anymore. And my Industries start to take up more than my resources can handle. I don't have enough coal or steel to trade for oil to support my panzer armies

The trick is to look at all those minor axis countries as a bonus. Invade them, annex them, and take their ICs and resources.

Of course, as the UK or US you'd be in better position to do that, but you can still get Persia, Turkey, Greece, the Balkans, Afghanistan, etc. Heck, maybe you could even get a invasion force scraped together to take on Argentina. I might have to try the SU in World Tumbling...
