Hmm, all of the sudden I'm not that eagered about the shadows, looks nice and all (especially the coa), but maybe I should just go ahead and drop them...

Well I honestly still don't like the shadows... but apart from that, great work. The Hive approves.

The shadows are ok - but I have only seen them with shadows - although the third shield on the template has wierd shading (light from below)..
But it is looking good..

Oh the third shield has almost the same shading as the original shield.

About the screenies they look very similar
But the lower one (2) has slightly clearer detail on the shields (= less shading?) and is my preference for that. (You better ask someone who is good at picture-stuff instead
)
I agree with previous speaker. The lower screenshot without the shadows look better IMO. The shadows on the other screenshot look a little pixelated don't they?
