That could be done, I did a bit of that with "my" original EU shields. But I guess some shields needs a different shade of color, for example Tver and Muscovy to differ them a bit.

Oh, I just wanna point out that I am aware that these shields is more European, but hey heraldry is a European thing and I want them god damn it.

Here's how the royal marriage, vassals and military alliances could look like.
1. Crown - Royal marriage
2. Supporters - Vassal
3. Crossed swords - Military alliance
Oh, the crown is made by Iostephanos (slightly changed by me), and the crossed swords is stolen from Svea Rike III.
Don't know what to replace the cassus belli with. It doesn't really fit in right now... Any suggestions?

Haven't managed to come up with something new for the casus belli yet...
In regards to the casus belli, did a google search and this came up. Dont know who done it, but what you think? I am sure you could do something with it (might be a bit too large mind, i dont know)

Second one, definitely. The first one (while good) has the sword handles a bit... bendy. Might fit for sabers or scimitars, i suppose, but I would say the second set certainly.

The second swords, and I think they could even be stretched a bit. Or made more massive. Currently, they look too small under the shield. More like crossed toothpicks you know.
As for CB, one could probably have just twin crossed lightnings. Or a clenched fist. Or sort of the thing the eagle on the link above is holding...

Yeah, the second swords are better. For the casus belli, what about just the thunderbolts? or maybe a cloud like in the original but a very dark one...
I was thinking of making either just thunderbolts or make the original cloud darker, gray/black, and keep the thunderbolts golden... I'll give it a try.

Now this would be perfect!!! possiblly a light colour as its going on a dark background but the idea is superb.
As for fixing the warshield problem....YAHOOOOOOOOOOO!
I'm not to keen on the cloud thing, but certainly have the thunderbolts, but I would like to see the contrasting cloud and thunderbolts (may change my mind)
