Is it a good thing or a bad thing? It souds to me like it makes the game easier, it adds events that it is likely only the player will be able to get to.

Is it better than the standard GC?

If i download it will i still be able to select the plain GC if i want to?

The search button seems designed to take you to threads that have no relation to your desired topic, i guess i could try though...

You can install it and still use the regular scenarios without using the EEP events.

Patch 1.05 should be out in the next week according to Patric. I'm until I've played that a few time and to hear that EEP works well with it before I bother with downloads.

BTW, most any questions about EEP are answered in the EEP forum. Problem is, sometimes it's hard to figure out what's a suggestion or work in progress vs. what's actually in the download.

Actually, I use the EEP, and I haven't seen that its any easier (on 1.04) as Byzantium. I like the extra events and choices - adds more flavor, etc. Some historical innacuracies get corrected, but really I think it is no easier, and probably not too much harder than the regular GC.

EEP is a must have. It makes the game more historical and accurate. You can still play the regular GC if you want to if you download the EEP.

A new version of the EEP will be released that will be altered so as not to conflict with patch 1.05, along with a bunch of new events, changes, etc.

But now, you have awesome events even after Byzantium is supposed to "die."
