Hello,

Okay being that I rather enjoy editors usually more than the game they came from I am jumping right into the editor to try to recreate a section of Southern California where I grew up as a child some 40+ years ago.

My one big stumbling block is that I need to make 1/3rd of the map all higher than the other 2/3rds. I'm trying to make it as a smooth flat land on the 1/3rd raised area that then slopes down into the other 2/3rd of the map but I can't seem to find any way of doing that in the editor thus far.

I thought "okay, i guess i'll have to do it manually" however when i try to raise the landscape of the 1/3rd of the map i don't find anything that will simply let me raise the map, (or lower the other 2/3rd of the map) I can only seem to expand my cursor to 100% which is obviously tiny in comparison to the entire map and does not make a nice flat plateau which would make things easy if I could simply plateau the 1/3rd of the map and then just go in and smooth out the one side that leads down to the lower 2/3rds of the map.

A quick paint sketch of what it would look like if you were looking at the map from the "side" view:

Thanks if you can explain the easiest way of doing this in the editor.

In the edit terrain tab, theres a "level terrain" button. If you right click somewhere on the map, and then paint with the tool, it'll set the terrain to the height of where you right clicked. Hope that made sense :)

Thank you, off to find that elusive level terrain button.
