editor[GEM]-Exception solved in Full-Version?

Hi,

does anybody know whether the error "editor[GEM]-Exception" (Invalid call (gem\gem\render\device.h, 217) was already solved in the full version of Majesty 2?

If this is a problem you're having with the demo, then yes I'm pretty sure it is fixed since I haven't had that problem.

@darthvadre - I know from some people who had the same problem in the final version, too. But, I don't know whether it was already fixed (by patch, etc.).

I was thinking you were referring to a demo version problem, and what I meant is I didn't think the problem was in the full version since I'm using the full version and haven't had any problems with it.

I'm getting that exact same error and I have the full version.

i had that gem/217 problem, but someone suggested deleting the maj2 folder in my documents and then not ever going in to edit options and that has solved it for me. I can't change any options now, but I can at least play the game.

Yes but I already bought a second copy but it still does it for me... I could play perfect for the first couple of day but then I got this message...

If you can live without modifying your settings you could try to delete all files in the folder "~\My Documents\majesty2\shader_cache". If this doesn't help delete the whole folder "~\My Documents\majesty2" (but take care 'cause this deletes your saves too).

I have that same problem. Deleting the files doesn't seem to work. What it says exactly is:

Of course you can, haven't you ever returned an item before? Grab your receipt and take the game back to the store you purchased it from.
