So here's the issue, we have an MP game going where I need to edit the save to remove the overextension that 3 provinces are causing. The problem? The player that suffers from the overextension is no longer the controller or the owner of the provinces.
Basically, it went like this:
What modifier am I missing, why does the game still think he controls those 3 provinces? When I load up the save the game says he has 0 OE and the OE button is greyed out, as soon as I unpause it, those 3 provinces pop up and the OE is back to 64%.
Basically, it went like this:
- We made a peace where the 3 provinces were given to Palatine, we did not know that you could no longer sell provinces that you cannot core.
- Palatine was stuck with 3 provinces he shouldn't have and so I decided to try to edit that by going into the save and swapping the Controller and Owner of the province to the correct person, France.
- This seemingly transferred ownership, yet did not remove overextension from the Palatine player. According to his OE interface, he still needs to core them: http://i.imgur.com/U5p1WQX.png
- I went back in and added fake history to the provinces, edited his num_of_non_cores to =0, edited his overextension_percentage to =0.0 and yet... it keeps coming back.
