Editing leader traits

Is it possible to edit the leader traits?

Either just the name or what it does too?

And those new traits from Doomsday?

I guess changing those cannot be done then

I was hoping I could get rid of that silly 'old guard' trait and replace it with something else.

Where did you find it in the editor?

I'm not talking about changing a leaders traits, but changing the traits themselves

That Editor comes with doomsday. Not everybody has it, I have to remind myself of that. But If you don't have it it's modable in the HoI2/db/leaders file but it's a bit thougher but doable. People usually recomend notepad for modding it.

But I still don't see it anywhere.

I'm talking about for example:

changing the name 'old guard' to 'waffen SS' and give it different bonus-malus'

NOT; giving Eisenhower another trait.

Edit: I have found that you can edit all the 'new' traits in 'doomsdaytext' in configure.
( I think)

Okey it's bad but you see it, further down in the same file you can edit the existing traits.

Will see if I can find bonuses

I always thought the traits were hardcoded...

I hope not, otherwise Paradox should put them in a txt.

nope But I haven't found where to change the effects but I'm sure they're in there.
