I have a few questions about editing AI behaviour which, unfortunately, are not answered by Havard's otherwise good EU editing pages as far as I can tell.

1. Is there a way to make the AI willing to merge small units into ones that are large enough to actually do something on their own? The default behaviour in vanilla seems to make it impossible for the AI to wage any form of naval or amphibious war.

2. Is there a way to make the AI try to besiege a few provinces at once instead of flooding a single province with all its soldiers and lose them all to attrition?

1. I don't think so, but I'm not sure.

2. Yes; check ai_Readme.txt under "supply" (in the "conquer" section).

For all the AI info you could ever want, see IDLF's AI Bible. :)
